About The Engineer

I'm Evan,
a Security &
AI Builder.

Business Technology Management and Cybersecurity student at Toronto Metropolitan University, currently interning at Rogers Cybersecurity Catalyst. My work sits somewhere between cybersecurity, AI, and data engineering, and I like it that way.

Most of what I build ends up running in production. The trading bot runs 24/7 on a VPS. The phishing detector is live on Streamlit. I got tired of the gap between coursework and the real world, so I started closing it myself.

Finishing my Business Technology Management degree with a Cybersecurity minor, and I hold four cloud certifications across Google, IBM, Microsoft, and AWS.

  • Built Python pipelines to pull together and clean large cybersecurity workforce datasets for ongoing research.
  • Created dashboards in Power BI and Tableau to track workforce skill trends, used directly in stakeholder reporting.
  • Standardized job title classifications across the dataset, cutting inconsistencies that were skewing the analysis.
